Cedarwood & Vetiver

The workshop keeps its own warmth

February is the barn month. The weather does its worst outside while the stove ticks, the radio murmurs, and the smell of sawn wood hangs about grandad Kevan's bench.

Cedarwood & Vetiver came from those afternoons: green thyme and lavender over dry cedar and earthy vetiver, a quiet depth that feels like work done slowly and a door closed against the cold.

Grounded, steady, quietly warm

Mood

Grounded, steady, quietly warm

It is the scent of staying put: timber and earth, a low fire, and the patience the coldest month asks of everyone.

Picture split logs drying in rows, sawdust on the workshop floor, and bare trees holding their line along the beck.

Ritual

An afternoon indoors while the weather passes

Light it when the rain sets in, put something slow on the radio, and let the afternoon take as long as it likes.
